About Us

A group of like minded SharePoint professionals - Not an Agency

SharePoint Resource has been setup by a group of like minded contractors to provide expertise to clients assisting with SharePoint and Office 365 projects.

Whether it be to deliver complete projects, augment an existing team or provide expert resource, we have people to help.

We do not operate as an agency, but engage with clients either directly, or via agencies who have existing relationships with clients

We have a wide range of both professional and technical skills including:

  • Deep knowledge and practical experience of SharePoint 2016, 2013, 2010, 2007 and 2003.
  • Deep knowledge and practical experience of SharePoint online and the wider Office 365 platform.
  • Microsoft Development languages including .net, C#, Powershell and Typescript.
  • Add-Ins / Apps, Web Parts, Events, Workflows and other customisation
  • Infrastructure (Server / Desktop operating systems), SQL and networking technologies (DNS etc).
  • Web technologies including Javascript, JQuery, Angular, CSS and HTML.
  • Project management (Agile and Prince) and requirements definition / business analysis.
  • Other 3rd party tools and utilities (Nintex, Sharegate, Metalogix, Avepoint, System Centre, TFS).

Typical Contract Services

Solution architecture and design

Initial requirements definition. Designing and architecting the appropriate platforms. Defining solutions, identifying applications and technologies to deliver the requirements.

Implementation and migration

New server farm build and deployment. Migration across farms and from on-premises to hosted platforms. Version to version migration and upgrade.

Project management

Project and team management using Agile or Waterfall processes; including Scrum, Kanban and Prince methodologies.

Bespoke development

SharePoint Add-ons, web parts, application pages, event receivers, timer jobs, workflows, site / list definitions and custom applications. Both traditional .net based and client-side javascript based applications.

Administration, training and support

Day to day platform administration (servers, web applications, sites etc), end user training (formal and informal) and support.

Business analysis

Requirements gathering and definitions, general business and process analysis.

Most engagements require a combination of all skills
